its funny but each new tune i try becomes my favourite.but if you hold a gun to my head , right now id plumb for ojos brujos by leo brower, its quite difficult but only very short but the tune is so subtle it seduces you as you play.

La Catedral by Barrios, great tune that one.

At the moment tho I am playing Bach Prelude for Lute Suite no 4, for some reason I thought it was the theme to Antiques Roadshow, but I don't think it is.

Hey guys.  I'm new, but I'm not a new guitar player.  My favorite song to play right now is Rumores De La Caleta by Isaac Albeniez.  Its a malaguena and really fun to play.

It has to be Bach's Chaconne in Dm

Other than that:

Roland Dyens
Leo Brouwer
Astor Piazolla

I'm working on Albéniz's Cordoba at the moment, but am finding it difficult to make the fast strumming section sound musical...

Hi guys,

Ohh Bach's Chaconne in Dm is one off my favourite too,
what a melodic piece,
I still didnt finished it.

By the way, I want to create a page, "classical guitar pieces best of" in the main page,
with your favourites here, and give tabs with them, Wink

any suggestion welcome.

best wishes.

I play Sor's Etude 17 nearly everytime I sit down to practice. I use it as my warm up piece; it doubles as a great right hand excerise as well as having one of the prettiest melodies I have ever heard.
